Sićevo

The village of Sicevo, 15 km away from the city of Niš, is situated in the Sicevacka gorge  that has been declared national park, and it is on the highway along the corridor 10. The village of Sicevo has a longterm tradition and it is ideal for the development of agricultural tourism. In the vicinity of the village there are numerous tracks for all kinds of extreme sports, as well as the Spa of Niš. The art colony in the village of Sicevo has been active over centuries. The village of Sicevo is famous for excellent wines and for various kinds of agricultural products as well.

The Nature Park Sicevacka Klisura is protected as the area of exceptional biological diversity    and the site or dwelling place of a great number of endemic, endemorelic, relic and rare plant andanimal species, as a remarkable   example of the occurrence and interaction of geological, geomorphological and hydrological phenomena, and as the landscape of prominent features of natural beauty.  Sicevo canyon is a part of a prehistoric and major natural route which has been connecting Europe and Asia from the ancient times.
